Jewel in the Crown Holidays was founded in 1983 and were leading independent specialist tour operator to Goa, Kerala, Turkey and the Red Sea Riviera.

Jewel in the Crown, also known as Jewel Holidays, concentrated on working with the smaller, family run hotels and apartments which offered alternative properties to the big mainstream tour operators, and ultimately, giving the customer the very best value for money.

Jewel were members of both ABTA and ATOL, which both came into service when the company ceased trading in 2016.
